Founded with a deep love for Meghalaya’s gentle rhythm, Elysian Home Food & Stay is an authentic Khasi family-run haven located at Lumiablot, Nongthymmai. We created Elysian as a bridge between thoughtful highland comfort and traditional homemade food.

Check-in is from 12:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can usually be arranged if the room is free — just ask us on WhatsApp.

No advance is required for a normal booking. We confirm your dates on WhatsApp and you settle at the property. For long stays and whole-house bookings we may request a small token advance.

Rooms are quoted on a room-only basis. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are ordered separately from our kitchen menu, or you can cook for yourself in the guest kitchen for a nominal utility fee.

Yes. The guest kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, refrigeration, cookware and a microwave. Access is on request with a nominal fee that covers gas and utilities.

We can arrange airport pickup from Guwahati or Umroi and help you book reliable local drivers for Cherrapunji, Dawki, Mawlynnong and Laitlum. Tell us your dates and we will line it up.
